Reflection

Posted by Ian (Singapore, Singapore) on 6 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I posted this for a reason. I was writing a reflection note a few days ago to reflect on what has happened between 2006 and 2007.

To reflect means to look back to the past and to think what went wrong and to relive happy memories.

As I am meeting almost everyone tomorrow to get my A level cert, I will consider this the last last time for everything.

There's a mixed feeling inside me, fear, excitement, etc. What I fear most is not being able to accept what I get tomorrow and regret my two years. I really hope that it is not the case.

That's why I forced myself to do this rather lengthy reflection note. As you can see, reflection can never reflect reality but it can transform the past into the present state or transport us back to the past. That's an amazing thing about reflection.

As I was doing my reflection, I realized how incomplete my life would be without friends around me. Like what you see in the picture, you still can see the reflection of the sky on the lake without the trees, but what kind of reflection it will become without the trees?

So, I am really greatful to all my friends who have made my reflection complete and end with a happy note.

Thanks for the incredible 2 years!
